Coconuts are one of the most powerful superfoods on earth. Yeahs they have many great health benefits, but they are also useable in so many different ways. They are a true power tool to change your health and really help your body heal.

There are so many ways to use Coconut. As Oil, Water, Milk and Flesh. So let’s find out all the greta health benefits of Coconuts

Coconut Water

Coconut Water is one of the greatest hydration. Water is a good source of  potassium(twice as much as Bananas) what we lose while sweating.

Coconut water can be used is Smoothies or be a post workout drink. Of course the best way to consume Coconut water is straight from Young Coconuts, but as we are not able to get Coconuts from the nature all around the world, then most biggest cities and international stores are selling 100% natural Coconut water(make sure that they are natural and there is no sugar or anything else added)

Coconut Oil

Probably one of the most powerful parts of this massive seed. I can’t get enough of  promoting that everybody should have a jar of Coconut Oil in the fridge all times. I use Coconut Oil Daily on my skin, Hair and food.

Oil contains medium-chain saturated fatty acids (MCFAs), it is a  healthy form saturated fat. Our body metabolises these fats in the liver, immediately converting this into energy rather than it being stored as fat. These are necessary for the brain and muscle function. Coconut oil is one of the weight loss secrets and it reduces abdominal fat and type 2 diabetes. Coconut oil contains high levels of lauric acid, it strengths the immune system and has the ability to attack viruses, bacteria and other pathogens. It just don’t flatten the tummy, but it also eases the digestion and can help with bowel irritation. Coconut oil can also be a good help to stop your sugar cravings.

 Coconut oil can be consumed by eating spoonful a day, used as oil when cooking or added in desserts(mostly healthy raw desserts) or smoothies.
Coconut oil is also very beneficial when oil pulling.
Coconut does real magic with our beauty. I use Coconut Oil to take care of my damaged hair(on the jobs my hair suffers under a lot of sprays, foams, ironing and hair drying). Coconut Oil helps to keep the necessary protein in the hair and helps it grow faster and makes it shinier. I have been using Coconut Oil in my hair for few years now. My hair is growing so fast and oil gives it beautiful glow and strength. It is just beautiful how strong and powerful nature is to produce these amazing natural products for us. I usually add Coconut Oil to my hair after the shower or if I have a day off then I use it as hair gel to hide my curly baby hair while it can do its best work in my hair. You can also use it as a mask for your hair, massage coconut oil into your hair in the evening and wash it of in the morning.
Coconut can help you with dry skin and also it can be a good help when you have got sunburned or when you are about to go under the sun, because it also have Spf 4-10. Coconut oil can be used as a moisturizer or anti-aging cream. You also can make home made scrubs and conditioners with it. If you have problems with acne, then dont be scared to try coconut oil.

Coconut Milk

Made out of Coconut Meat and water. Dont confuse it with Coconut water what is totally fat free and a lot lower in calories. Coconut milk is creamy and thick. Can be used in cooking for desserts or delicious tropical savory dishes like soups, stews and curries.

Coconut Flesh(Meat)

Young Coconut meat is creamy and more liquid, Mature Coconut Meat is thicker and grating that you will get Coconut flakes or Coconut flour. Coconut meat can be used in savory- or fruit salads, also added to smoothies or desserts. Coconut flakes are great healthy way to decorate desserts, protein balls or snack bars.

 In Sanskrit Coconut is Kalpa Vriksha  what means “The tree which provides all the necessities of life”!

Pokok Seribu Guna in Malay language is  “The tree of a thousand uses”!

In the Philippines Coconut trees are called the “Tree of life”!
